HumsMums: How It All Began

When we first dreamed up HumsMums, it wasn’t because we had loads of free time (we’re full-time teachers, wives, and mums, after all). It started with a simple observation: students are learning more than ever through social media. Instead of fighting it, we adapted, joined the platforms they love, and discovered how much impact we could have. That’s when we realised there was so much more we could offer.

We wanted to create something different — a place bursting with creativity, where teachers could find ready-to-use ideas, parents could get practical support, and students could access engaging resources to boost their learning. From lesson plans to revision packs, videos to experiences, we’re here to make history and geography come alive for everyone.

Our mission goes beyond just sharing materials. We aim to instil a love of humanities and essential skills from primary age, while also helping parents navigate how students learn and revise in a digital age.

We do all this while juggling busy lives, but we love it – and we’re so excited to have you on board this journey with us. Together, we can make learning engaging, creative, and unforgettable.
